Ruby on Rails "Wizard"

Warszawa / Jaworzno / Bielsko-Biała, Poland

We are looking for Ruby on Rails developer who will be responsible for providing technical solutions,
designs and implementations for new and ongoing software development projects.

As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will need to share our passion for craftsmanship in software design
and development, as well as continuous improvement in the techniques, tools and languages we use. We are also looking for an appreciation of business objectives and an enthusiasm to deliver superior, innovative web and mobile solutions.

Essential Skills:

• Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Strong Object Oriented design skills
• Previous experience with test-driven development, automated testing frameworks and related tools such as Test/Unit, RSpec, Cucumber
• Previous experience with Revision Control systems such as GIT, Mercurial
• Good understanding of CSS and JavaScript
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills within an Agile project teams
• Ability to understand a technology problem in light of a broader product vision

Desired Skills:

• Good understanding of SQL and DB optimisation principles
• Familar with Design Patterns and UML
• Previous experience with Continuous Integration systems such as Bamboo, Hudsonand, CruiseControl.
• Previous experience with JBehave, Selenium and JMock
• Previous experience with Web API, JSON, CoffeeScript
• Motivation and talent to write simple, pragmatic and beautiful code
• Passion to experiment with new technologies
